So meet Pearl, the first Donkey I had the pleasure of meeting properly (so to speak). Supposedly all real donkeys are called after Gems. She really was a beauty...

I like donkey's they are noisy as hell at dusk and dawn but other than that they are great friendly creatures that do a hard days work for you with little complaint given sweet encouragement.
