Ted Cruz has become the new Sarah Palin. Studies have shown that every time he makes a political statement or takes a political action, donations to democrats rise drastically as people donate to keep him out of office.

Today was another day where democrats wanted to kiss him and thank him for being the winner that he is because Ted Cruz, Mr. "OBAMACARE IS DESTROYING 'MERICA!!" is signing up for Obamacare to cover his family the day after he made a speech announcing his run for presidency by saying he would abolish the ACA program.

When questioned on it he said he would be signing up for it which includes him getting a massive discount for being a congressman. When cornered and asked specifically if he would be taking the subsidy he kept on saying he would "follow the letter of the law." so it's OK for him to get that discount, a discount larger than most families living in abject poverty, because he needs to save money.

He could have just went and got regular insurance, there was nothing stopping him, but he chose Obamacare because it got him a better deal.

Later, after his staffers found out that he had admitted on TV that he was taking the government subsidy his people released statements saying he has chosen not to take that special clause that was put into congress to give congresspeople the maximum discount allowed by law.

The same discount that he was going to take advantage of he called "unconstitutional and illegal", but he was going to use it to save money anyway.

Republicans at this point need to ask themselves, if you have people like this as the front runner in your party, are you sure you are voting for the right team?
