Watching UP the very first time for me it had been clear that this movie would always have a part in my hart ... maybe it also will be my favourite Disney/Pixar Movie forever.This amazing, but sad love story between Carl and Ellie, the amazing relationship between Carl and Russell later ... of course Kevin (cause I really love Dodos) ... everything is an amazing combination and shows you, it is never wrong to follow your dreams.
Here is the finished Adventure Book I made myself for my upcoming Ellie Costume on the Connichi in Kassel.
For me it was clear, when I am not sewing the costumes, I want to make some good accessoires.
The book is made with bookbinder cardboard, lots tape, tons of wood glue, imitation leather, acrylic colors, one bootlace, pictures from UP, marbled paper and of course lots love :3

Having seen this movie several times while working for the Pixar Exhibition and listen to some of the creators talk about how they go about designing the various aspects in the movie, your artwork had really brought it to life.

oh my god just by seeing this i got this wave of sadness from remembering the movie ;-; when the movie showed that ellie still had her adventure from just being married to carl, even though they never got to accomplish the physical trip of the waterfall when she was alive ;-;

I totally agree that Pixar films are really well prepared. Just like UP, Wall-e thay have that second bottom which you can only get if you look closer or are a bit older. Personally I cried during this pic three times.
As for your work this really looks just like Ellie's. Love how you did the cover, making it like it went trought a lot in it's life. I don't remember what was inside except for the photo with house on the cliff but the mini-posters are great. And one more question: did you wrote what Ellie insert in the book?
