I posted a red spinel earlier but deleted it. this spinel does have a master that I will post later.

Earlier in the night I posted a poll asking my watchers for their input on what gem I am. It was tied between Red Spinel and Carnelian Quartz. I chose Red Spinel as the tie breaker.

Spinels are the only gem on homeworld not only allowed but encouraged to be like me. Goofy, spontaneous, joyful and born with a love of laughter and smiles. I always draw myself as a Quartz, but I felt it was overdone AND the personality doesn’t fit. I am too gentle and patient. Spinel is my spirit animal. I literally cried the first time I heard drift away and use that feeling to cry on que during sad acting scenes. I too have been treated as a joke, not taken seriously, bullied, abandoned and discarded. People who don’t like me call me annoying. However at this point in my life… I wouldn’t want to be anything else. I know there’s a place for people like me even if those who are cold don’t see it.

Btw I saw somebody (not using any names because they have a deviantart) say it was ok for pink to leave spinel and never come back because she was “clingy and annoying”

I acknowledge that pink became a better person, that’s why I defend her as Rose. I don’t think what she did to spinel is okay or justified. Just because you find somebody “annoying” doesn’t mean it’s ok to treat them as bad as Pink treated Spinel. Not to mention spinel was designed to be clingy and spinel didn’t realize pink felt that way about her.
