Nicely done, good color, focus, and composition; I've still not been able to get a shot of a web that came out this nice!

Spiderweb
by Stanislaw Baranczak
The spiderweb, symmetrical
death;
is still
a sail stretched from leaf to leaf,
sifting sunrise (let’s wax
poetic), a thatched roof
straining stars some August night (there’s
no better), a wintry
pattern (anaesthetic) on the glass;
suddenly:
the splayed hand that slapped your face;
the wheel they broke you on; the rifle
target bearing your hunched shape;
ripples on the water where you drowned;
your solar plexus radiating
pain; the sight on a fighter plane
nosediving the road where you shield
your head with other refugees; a windowpane
meshed with cracks where your eyes had been;
the spiderweb, concentric rings; pain
grows this way; centrifugal rays;
a dead star decays this way;symmetrical death;
harmonious disgrace;
tidy degradation;
you only feel it brush your face.
—Translated from the Polish by Stanislaw
Baranczak and Clare Cavanagh

nie zauważyłam że mówisz po polsku To jest rozwalający wiersz (oryginał oczywiście po polsku):
Pajęczyna
Pajęczyna, symetryczna
śmierć;
jeszcze
jest żaglem rozpiętym od liścia do liścia,
sitem świtu (więc rymujemy
póki czas), strzechą,
która cedzi gwiazdy w noc sierpniową (bo
jutro już, zimowym
wzorkiem (nie będzie nas) na szybie;
nagle:
rozczapierzona dłoń, którą dano ci w twarz;
koło, na którym cię łamano; tarcza
strzelnicza z twoją zgarbioną sylwetką;
kręgi na wodzie, w której utonąłeś;
twój splot słoneczny, rozjarzony
bólem; celownik w samolocie,
pikującym nad drogą, gdzie, pośród uchodźców,
osłaniasz głowę rękami; szyba
z siecią pęknięć, gdzie były twoje oczy;
pajęczyna, koncentryczne kręgi: tak
narasta ból; odśrodkowe promienie:
taką gwiazdą martwą się upada;
symetryczna śmierć;
harmonijna hańba;
upodlenie uporządkowane;
czujesz tylko muśnięcie na twarzy.
