Description
OMFG FACEMELTTritium to Coesite.
*Coesite is a form of silicon dioxide that is formed in high pressure events, such as a meteor crater.
sorry TND. You know, I really was debating actually taking the dodge down a bit...
but hell, I love it like this XD
note this is v1.0. This isn't finished. and I'm also planning on making a follow-up to this piece...
So the whole progression will be something like:
Tritium-Coesite-100 Years-Crater.
So 4 pieces in all. I love progressions.
Enjoy
EDIT: OMG A DD
My first
In honor of this, I'm submitting the awesome sharpened version. ISOHAPPY

Whoa..@_@
Yep, the contrast works really well in this piece. Might have to set it as my wallpaper soon. (When I get sick of my current one)

i'm stil not digging the colors, this is however a very interesting scene. i think a darker mid planet would push the atmosphere of the piece though.

what colors do you have in mind? This is still a wip.

generally it's not the color, but the combination of colors. the intense mixture of green and orange just isnt working for me.

wow
Great work. I especially like the small impacts around the great one.
And btw: I really LIKE the high dodge supports the apocalyptical feeling (or something like that : D)

Yeah I love the high dodge too
TND hates it. I take pleasure in melting his eyes XD
And yeah, the small impacts give it feeling
they need work though. Thanks for the comment and fav!

that looks pretty @_@

Thanks
Yeah, it's got a bit more work. I'm not satisfied with the smaller impacts... they just don't look finished enough.
