Description
Some people are scared when they see it coming. They run or hide. But the entity isn’t dangerous. Hiding is, Running is, at least when it’s there. It clouds the view.
Some people are scared when they see it coming, but there are those that know that this being doesn’t mean any harm. They stay and the entity embraces them. Muffling the never ending voices that come from the outside. Ridding them of their worry’s for a few graceful moments. They aren’t lonely when they are with this being, even though they are alone. Some of them wish that this moment could last forever, but the entity comes and goes, it doesn’t stay for long, and as quick and yet unseen as it appears it also leaves again.

I made this using watercolours. It’s probably the best piece that I made in watercolours yet. I was originally going to make a monster, but then I decided otherwise, since I really like fog. Its mystical and watching it rise and fall and cover the area around me is just amazing. As long as it’s there I forget everything and just watch. It really clears my mind.

Something I learnt while doing this:
Use quality paper!
A few tips to understand why: When using watercolours, use layers. Built up the colour as needed. Start with the lightest values. You can always go over a part that you have already drawn and darken it. Regular printing paper doesn’t really allow for layering.
This might seem obvious but it made a big difference for me. I got actual watercolour-paper for my birthday and after weeks of it just laying around I finally tried it out. It made drawing a lot more fun, because I can go over it so many times without it falling apart.
