I've parachuted before. Strapped to someone who knew what they were doing, of course. It was surprisingly not too intimidating.

Lemme go over why I love this piece so much for a second.Β Something I wrote somewhere else.
"You ever get the feeling you're in a circle of friends, but your hobbies don't align with theirs? You want to spend time with your friends, but you don't like doing the things they do and vice versa.
Pegasi in Equestria (in the MLP universe) are the only race that can fly of the main three (unicorns and earth ponies being the other two). They get to enjoy all the joys of flying, free falling, and so on. It humors me the idea of a pegasus trying to spend time with her friends by having them all sky dive (the non-winged ponies using parachutes). So the pegasus is in her comfort zone, enjoying what she's used to. The wingless, however......"
I really, really, REALLY love this piece.Β
The contrast between Faraday's comfort in the air, and her enjoying the excitement of free falling as a pegasus,
versus the discomfort of the wingless peasants and the fear of being fish out of water, free falling to their demise with a tiny parachute to keep them afloat.
It's so good.Β This piece is so very good.Β You do Celestia's work.

I haven't gone jumping with a parachute before...
However, my mom and dad did try to prank me and my twin on our 13th birthday, and brought us to a sky-diving place. Β Just for a joke, though. Β I wouldn't set a foot on a plane, let alone jump off of it!!! xD
