They are a part of himself that he lost long ago, separated through the act of selflessness and love, as hard as that is to imagine.

Now, whose to say he couldn't re-absorb those parts of himself to become whole again, now that his children have grown strong? This idea explores that which grants a darker, 'edgier' appearance known as Sabledestructor. The jagged spikes and horns become more streamlined and smooth, the backspikes become much longer and point straight, and the tail increases in length. The orange hieroglyphics around his body seem to disappear as well, as if indicating his limitations have been surpassed. Sacrificing your kids for strength, truly dad of the year.
