Description
This drawing is the first illustration ever made of Esdrael, and the sketch was drawn by , so he was the one who designed Esdrael and I gave him color. He had no name by that time, so I called him "Horned demon"... But both of us just called him "El bicho" (in Spanish. somewhat like "That thing" in English). We just keep calling him "El bicho" half of the time.

Some important differences between the Alpha and final versions are a better design of the bones at his back, establishing what kind of antlers he has, making his skull more White-tailed deer looking, the placement of the 4 ribs he has, the third eye-socked on his forehead and making his legs bigger and stronger.

The joke is, the first time I drew him based on this drawing, I was practicing men's body and male musculature, so I made him much more bulky than he was (because my friend wanted him more Wendigo-looking, and these creatures usually are more malnourished-looking and thinner than Esdrael's final version) so, instead of drawing him like how he originally looked, I sent him to the gym and he got a much more muscled body... So yeah, the fact Esdrael is like how he's right now is only my fault xD And I regret nothing.

I want to show all the art we have right now, so I thought it could be a good idea to show his Alpha version.
