First in an in-progress series I'm working on for Llewellyn's 2011 Astrological Calendar.The crab, water, nurturing, the reflective surface of water, focus on the family, protective, sensitive.

This is my favorite of the zodiac series. I just love the textures in the water, and the intersecting lines throughout the composition. Just beautiful.

I feel I can really relate to this representation. We've just had our second child (my baby girl named River!), & I'm just so in love with my children/family.

I always thought Cancerians got the raw end of the stick with a crab. It's the least sexy zodiac. You've made it look cool though.
