Description

I haven't written this into an official story yet, but the premise was different sides converging upon the long-lost coffin of a missing elder vampire at the bottom of a sea. Adventure, exploration, strange bedfellows, and temporary alliances weigh down the sanity of the searchers.

Pictured here is a team of Technocracy divers alongside a Tzimisce marine biologist. They seek the coffin to obtain a sample of the occupant's blood for the purpose of testing whether or not Vicissitude is a curse, a power, a disease, or an interdimensional parasite.

Their rivals are vampires who seek to cannibalize the entombed elder. Instead of warm wetsuits and drysuits, these vampires require no air as they walk across the sea floor upon concrete shoes.

Other rivals are those who wish to destroy, revive, worship, or hide the sunken coffin's occupant. Their human and ghoul servants are divers whose importance ranges from indispensable servants to talking drink boxes, most of whom have no idea where on that spectrum they fall.

A murder mystery arises from a crime committed hundreds of years ago. How to bring suspects to trial when the very ideas of facts and evidence are viewed as naive.

What began as a straightforward descent to find a vampire's coffin in the depths becomes...

In the meantime, I'll settle for drawing illustrations which inspire potential stories. I don't have the skill at this time to weave together all those different individuals into an interconnected narrative. (which would need to be well-paced with characters whom the reader gets to know) Granted, I COULD write a shortened story in the style of a Jonny Quest episode, though. But first, more self-assigned concept illustrations are in order.
