the Corse-class frigates are an evolution of the Aquitaine class frigates from the start with a more powerful radar. by far, one can identify the error by their more powerful artillery.

Indeed, they have a real CIWS system with a Oerlikon Millennium 35mm (or Thales RapidFire 40mmCT) turret on the roof of the helicopter hangar and a turret of 127 mm instead of 76 mm at the front.

at the missile, they have 12 additional tubes A50 on the left of the shed containing Aster 30 or CAMM-ER missiles. Indeed, the first phase of modernization of Aquitaine-class frigates is integrated into the building on Corse-class.

Another difference but this house since it is a MT30 turbine propelling frigates. despite a higher displacement, they are theoretically slightly faster than their elders.

- Modernization of a new radar system
- Replacement of Exocet MM40 to me by the Perseus CVS401.
