I like how you showed the smaller pilot within the outer shell. Very well done with the textures and lighting.

looks great, really cool. I bet it's fast too...
Like the landmates from appleseed, but cooler.

Wow, this is really a great design. It seems so much closer to reality than most "mecha"-like suits. Most of the designs I've seen so far are exaggerated and not very functional in many ways. The way that the pilot is positioned to control this one is very much like in the manga/anime "Appleseed" and I really like that as well
Great work!

yeah, appleseed was a big inspiration, but even those mechs can't physically work because the legs would be ripped off in any of the suits they have unless they are stationary. just the pivot point in the hips is to extreme for the human body... well if im talking about it, the arms on any of the appleseed mechs would work either. i could ramble for hours about the functionality of the mechs...
anyway, thanks for the comments, it's one step closer to a fully "functional" mech. (my legs arn't quite right yet.)

Appleseed the anime, Jeremy Cook's work on a never released movie called Mindbridge (blur studios) and Chuck Wojtkiewicz's concept art.

Very cool picture. The design very much reminds me of Shirow's stuff in Appleseed, with his Landmates (especially how the articulation of the lower limbs matches up). Congrats on the DD

THis is just ridiculously amazing! I love it, and I really want one too
... actually, the thing I really want to see, is the Heavy version if this is light, then the heavy is gonna be a behemoth!

This is visually inspiring, with the chipped paint and the lights and the fluidity of design, but the pose is really dull and static. I mean, it's supposed to be a fighter suit, right? So why not put it in a fighting stance?

all the limbs are slaves, as in when you move your fingers, the mech's fingers move.

This is very cool.
Awesome design, very clean and crisp. Love the way the pilot hangs on the outside.
