Description
This is Echo, my decker character for a prospective Shadowrun campaign. She's a former corporate operative who turned to the shadows when she discovered the corporation she used to work for is likely responsible for the mysterious event that killed her parents.

I decided to go a bit more ink-heavy on this one to give it something of a darker feel. I was pretty happy with the way it looked in just black and white too. I also tried a lot of new things with the colors. I tried to go for something that both looks a bit more painterly than my usual cell shading, and makes it seem like the subject is more a part of the scene. I started with CSP's Advanced Fill feature with the opacity turned down to blend the skin tone with the indigo of the background lighting, and then went absolutely ham with the blending tool on the blur setting before spraying some black from the airbrush tool onto the darker recesses. While I like the "soft lighting" look, I'd probably want to update the technique if I wanted a harsher feel.
