Description
Some sound design I did in Absynth, recreating a certain Synclavier sound used in Michael Jackson's "Beat It", though it had a few other uses as well, such as Tangerine Dream's "Kiew Mission". Made entirely with FM synthesis on filtered sawtooth waveforms.

Premium content consists of the mp3 as well as the Absynth patch, those of you interested in acquiring this Synclavier preset recreation. Bear in mind, though: the audio demo included boosting of the lower frequencies via EQ'ing and additional chorus.

UPDATE: replaced the Absynth patch with a Kontakt instrument in which the sound is more faithful.
