Description “Looks like I found our bot napper.” The alien crossed his arms. He glared at her. “Stripping bots that don’t belong to you is an offense, young lady. You’re plenty old enough to know that.”
“No, I swear…” Renee backed up and hit a wall. Her claws dug in and blunted themselves against the stone. “I just found the poor thing like this.”
“A likely story.” The man twisted the left wrist of his armor. It produced a non-detachable laser which he set to stun. “Now, you can come easy or hard.”

Nos was making a final round over this area of the city, considering it safe enough since it was dusk, to catch any bot he could. Today the butler had been his only victim. He wasn’t running low on energy, there was plenty back at his hideout, but the vampire craved for an exhilarating hunt. He licked his metallic lips, forked tongue lingering for a second. He felt rather sadistic tonight- Nos-4-a2 wanted to scare something into submission before he made his kill.
There was a short gleam from below. He looked down, smiling carefully. “Lovely.” He chuckled. It was the same ally as before. To organic figures stood there and… this was interesting, a small ship hidden by a cloaking device. Its engine was still warm. One of the two organics had arrived only minutes ago. He quietly assumed it was the female of the two.
Gliding in for a closer look, he settled on the roof of one of the buildings that walled them in to watch the conflict. He was just doing some harmless rubbernecking for the moment. They both were potential meals- the girl, a female Zephyrite by his observations, was a cyborg. There was something mildly familiar about her that he could not place a finger on…  He snapped his fingers- she had a robotic eye that looked to be the same make and model as his own monocle. “Delicious.” He muttered, tasting the energy from implants all over her body with his hungry gaze.  These were fairly new implants, by the looks of her stitches. They had possibly even put in today.
The man was Binipenardian. Middle aged, and in a mechanical suit typical of what organics were in Capital Planet’s police force. He was a district sentry, after the girl for something. This was getting interesting. The guard had a stun laser aimed at the girl. Nos leaned over and smirked.
“I swear I didn’t kill this bot!” The girl argued. So she was in trouble over his kill. Fantastic.
“Just come easy and you won’t get hurt, girl.” The man ordered. “You’ll get a fair trial, we can look at the evidence.” This is about when Nos decided, out of hunger, to intervene. He grinned evilly and gave a short, clipped mechanical roar. The man looked up in sudden fear. The twilight was growing darker. “Who’s there?” He moved the laser away from Renee and pointed it into the darkness.
“That’s not going to help you now.” Nos hissed tauntingly from a corner. The light had been sucked from the sky. “Now, why don’t you go on and find that bot napper? This isn’t your girl.”
The man span around. He couldn’t find the source of the words and shivered in fear. “Right.” He dashed off, knowing his duty code did not cover this.
Renee recognized the handsome British Earth accent instantly. She leaned over and breathed a heavy sigh of relief. Her luck appeared to be returning. “Thanks for chasing off that guard.”
The energy vampire came out of the shadows, smiling darkly. “Oh, don’t thank me yet, my dear.” He roared again. “I am your doom.”
Renee stumbled back. Did he not remember her? Apparently not, because he grabbed the girl and spun her around, fingers digging into her shoulder. He titled her head back with the claws of his other hand, pulling her chin up. “Lovely.” He purred, feeling her pulse while tracing the wires of the nerve monitor where it wrapped around her neck.
“Nos… don’t do it.” Renee begged.
Instead of wondering what the girl was going on about or why she knew his name, Nos exposed his fangs. He was savoring the moment, making sure it took a long time and that she could watch from the corner of her eye. “Please… Let me go!” She struggled uselessly against his grip. He didn’t, to absorbed in what he was doing, and sank his fangs into the metal band on her neck.
Renee shrieked in an explosion of pain as a few loose sparks flew from her neck. Her vision blurred. She screamed again and he held her head up tight, out of his way. Her right arm was immobilized because he had a death grip on it. She shrieked repeatedly and the cries steadily became more animal.  Renee soon couldn’t help but focus on the fact that she was going blind in one eye and that her whole body was tingling from her power being steadily drained. The battery it was all hooked up to was one that could be run for weeks, certainly one that would last at least another minute of this torture.
The girl twisted in his grip. Something was really familiar about her now- he even recognized the sound of her screams of pain. The enjoyment began to leak out of feeding off of the Zephyrite. She tried to claw at him with her right hand weakly. The hand soon fell away though, hesitant. She was hesitating to resist his attack? There was definitely something not right. But he would save it for after she was drained.
Renee tried to reach up, but a mixture of his commanding will and the pain of being fed off of made her hesitate and stop. She had stopped trying to resist but still screamed. She couldn’t help it. Why was no one coming to help her? Finally she was too hoarse to even cry out anymore. The battery was nearly dead now, and with a last flicker of life it died. The vampire released his grip and let the girl collapse. “What’s your name?” He demanded, closing in on her again.
“Renee.” She managed gruffly, reaching up to soothe the bite. She came away with two tiny droplets of blood on her fingertips. It was going too smart for a good long time.
The memory flickered over his motherboard- this girl had rescued him from the scrap heap! He put a claw to his lip, hovering over her quietly like an angel of death. He was digging up more information from back in the files. There it was! He had tried to kill her, but she had proven her worth in a short battle. Then there were the repairs, and a plan… the plan that had backfired on them, costing Renee her eye. The last memory he had of her was meeting her outside the hospital. She was one of his only surviving slaves.
“You got my signal from earlier, didn’t you?” He smiled. What a lucky coincidence.
“Does it… really matter?” She snapped and rolled over onto her back sickly. The vampire realized what he had just done. He had just fed off of his only useful current slave. He bent and wormed his hands underneath her, picking the girl up and cradling her not unkindly.
“Ah, my pet.” He smiled again and licked his lips. “Let’s get to my hideout shall we?”
Renee glared at him weakly. She wanted to cuss him out, but he was being hospitable enough to bring her back to his hide out alive, and she was too weak really to fight. The girl let it go for now. She fell into sleep as he carried the injured girl back to his current home in an old office building.
