Description
A while back I drew a scene of an elf watching a camp. It finally occurred to me that the weirdness I kept seeing in it was due to the way I ignored perspective when drawing it. I thought perhaps bringing the view much lower might help with that since it'd be a viewing angle I'm more familiar with. Also it might help the composition since the hidden watcher would be less hidden from anyone looking at the image.I did this to try and work out the posture one might use when peeking around a tree. I think it works, just he seems very casual about it. I'm not sure how to show that he's crouching in the shadows trying not to be spotted.
