...I have lots and lots of school work to do.I'm not sure why it happens, but it gets to the point where when school's actually over, I suddenly lose the will to draw at all. D:

.....ok, so i lied about not posting anything hurhurhur.
i...just didn't wanna paint anymore ;A;~ Plus i wanted to do something silly, and I just installed my Adobe CS4 (*coughmyfirstlegitcopy*cough*), so i played around with the animation stuff.
Plus I'm procrastinating doing hwk. gah.
ok, i think that's enough excuses hahaha

I know how you feel. Back when I was in school, the creativity just poured like an open faucet. Now that I'm graduated and looking for work: nada. The hell's up with that? That's f**king gay!

This is so true. It happens to me all the time. When I have a lot of free time, I laze around reading and watching TV, but when I have everything under the sun to do at once...that's when my muse decides to saunter in and say, "Hey, let's be creative!"

I can't tell you how true this stamp is for me. =A=;;
I sit down at my desk and tell myself that I'm gonna get all my work done within the next three hours before bed, and as soon as my pencil touched the paper, I NEED to grab my sketchbook and draw for those three hours. D|
I end up staying up late and falling asleep in class the next day. FFF

Suggestion: Take on just enough projects so that whenever you have a deadline, you can get yourself to do it by choosing to procrastinate on another. It's a rotating schedule of productive procrastination! LEVEL UP!

totally agree! In my case I get inspired to do studies druing some breaks at work, but when I get back home I feel tired and stressed out that I end up just watching tv or sleeping. -_-

This is very true, and it's because when you have work your brain is fully functioning trying to complete it and therefore is also throwing ideas around and you get inspiration. Then, when school is over your brain is less used and in a relaxed stated so you have no will to do anything! It is also very true that you will get some of your best inspirations right after sleeping, because of the ideas floating through your unconsciousness that rise to the surface. I have completed many 5 or more page papers in the middle of the night after waking up with some crazy idea to make it better or more interesting.

It's completely true! All the ideas always come about when I'm in school but when I have free time...forget it. I can't come up with anything!
btw you should try the CS5 trial. Photoshop has a new handy rotating tool (and keyboard shortcut) which is what i used to use SAI for. Also I heard that after effects will load everything much faster and ps has it's own animation line...I could be wrong, I got this information before it came out.
