Btw this sketch represents a spoiler about him. He's not evil. He has the power to manipulate the darkness but in magic form so we can technically call him a magician. He can use dark spells and abilities that he gets to learn by his father's book of spells and even learn dark forbidden spells that are written in a forbidden chapter of his father's book. He doesn't necessarily need his magical dark scythe to use his dark spells. He's like a demon slayer because he can kill plenty of dark creatures and face powerful villains as well although he himself is not a demon, his situation, as it seems, is a little complicated. However it's logical as to why would he be considered evil because of his powers but he's actually not. He's good and can face situations, including helping people his way.
