Record cover. The background to the two figures was a late 19th century painting of the Tarawera volcanic eruption that obliterated the world-famous pink and white terraces. The painting was used as a plaque at a viewing platform several kilometres from the volcano. Some (still?) angry person had scratched the surface of the plaque. Maybe their ancestors had fallen victim to the volcano's wrath. Or maybe it's just senseless vandalism. Who knows? Either way, you can still feel the energy this 'critic' inscribed.
