Oh this is justβ¦ gorgeous, Quietharm! You caught the moment perfectly. Truly and utterly. The intensity of it, even the flickering flames in the background, and the rain! : drools on : This is really beautiful. Kagomeβs expression, hell, Sesshoumaruβs expression! Theyβre exactly as I pictured them personally and looking at this makes me want to squeal all fangirlish-like. The addition of text and the storm rolling over the mountains at the bottom, really only adds to it. <3 Just, wow. Really.

Eee, thank you! I really love your entry too. I wish I could do dragons like that.. and your action scene of course does it even more justice. It's just too awesome for words. That's exactly how I pictured -that- scene in my head.

Your coloring just blows me away. What program did you use? If it's something similar to Photoshop, then at least I will have hope that one day I will also be able to make masterful CG colorings!

It IS Photoshop. It's on all the comps where I go to school.

Oh yay! If you don't mind my enquiring, what tools do you use? In particular, on this picture?

No worries! I use the line tool to draw the lineart. From there I make layers beneath it for base color, shading (done with the brush tool), and then I blur certain areas of it and add filters for the highlights and several other layers for the background.
