Muriel is a lighthearted individual who takes a go-with-the-flow approach to life and believes that all things will turn out okay in the end. Some say she’s aimless or unambitious, but that’s not entirely true. Muriel’s goals just don’t always align with others’ expectations of her, and she prefers to take life at her own pace. She’s very excitable, especially when it comes to things she’s passionate about, and she loves good company. Muriel also has a flair for dramatics. History
Muriel was born and raised in Oyster City, but the highly competitive culture and pressure to always be the best of the best didn’t suit her more laid-back personality. After graduating from high school with incredibly average scores in every subject (expect mathematics, in which she earned slightly above average scores), Muriel flew the nest for Willow City where she enrolled in the local university, earned a bachelor’s degree in physics with a minor in astronomy, and began working for the city’s planetarium.

Muriel first came to Lilypad Town when she heard from a co-worker that a new sky observatory had just opened up. Whether Muriel wasn’t aware of Lilypad’s struggles with raiders or simply didn’t care about the town’s troubled past is still unclear, but she fell in love with Lilypad and its residents immediately, and she soon returned to make a permanent roost in the small town. Muriel currently lives alone in a little brick home near the orchard.
