Description The website deviantART, this website is trolling my account.

Many time ago they deleted some of my works, I ask to the help desk the reasons to delete in every work because I din't broke any rule, and the guy in the help desk didn't tell me a reason,  but of course because he can't.
After that they stop trolling my account for many time, but I started doing artworks about the manipulation of the rules here by the admins and the behavior like trolls and they started to delete my works again.
I made new works about that situation and they gave me a daily deviation trying to shut up my mouth, but I can't shut up about this situation. So they actually continue trolling my account and they delete my works, no matter if I broke the rules or not, like in my last work "chandelier" I didn't broke any rule in that work but they deleted that few minutes ago.

This website sucks, is not a website for art, is a website about manipulation, censorship and help to make more popular the friends of the admins. So they must change the name of this website. Something like deviantARTSUCKS, deviantCensorship, deviantManipulation, deviantMafia...

Now all the trolls used by the admins who follow me just to report my works and silence my opinions will report that journal

I don't broke any rule but I'm waiting to see how the deviantART admins delete my account to get my silence even If I didn't broke the rules. I know they are afraid to do that because i have many people who follow my works, so they just act like trolls to make me go out from that website.

Now report that, trolls

Any internet company that accepts advertising is a whore. All it takes is one of their biggest advertisers to say "I don't like this guy" and then they start flagging your accounts for every useless excuse in the book. Likewise Google used to be good, BEFORE they started receiving advertising revenue. Same with YouTube.

The only reason why you are getting censored is because you actually have talent and that draws attention. If you didn't, they wouldn't care if you were "breaking rules."

You do rather thought provoking work, sucks that they would stifle your artistic expression. I always thought it funny when people would complain about someones posted artwork. Its easier to just keep scrolling if the art doesn't suit ones tastes.  But in their minds, their sense of whats art and what isn't trumps everyone else's. Ultimately you have to pity such people since their lives are so devoid of meaning that they must appoint themselves the (unasked for) internet censorship police.

Hm.. but dA does say in its Terms and Service agreement that you're not supposed to "upload, post, or otherwise transmit any material that is obscene, offensive, blasphemous, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable"once you make an account (Section I, 19b.). If you want to use a site, you have to follow its rules. If you can't follow the rules, then you can choose to use another site, right?

"you're not supposed to "upload, post, or otherwise transmit any material that obscene, offensive, blasphemous, pornographic, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable"

The perfect ingredients to make the most spineless dick-less art site EVER. Like, this shit is DESIGNED to cover and remove everything and anything they may not like. "otherwise ojectional" more like "anything we want" because we love art and hate censorship amiright guys?

"If you want to use a site, you have to follow its rules. If you can't follow the rules, then you can choose to use another site, right?"

I fucking love it when people are apologist towards a site's childish bullshit. It's not like there are a ton of other options and you know it. This is the only site where a person can get a shit-ton of exposure aside from maybe tumblr. Love it or leave it? How about fucking FIXING it?

chu0403 In reply to TheGutterBunny [2015-05-07 14:43:57 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure of the reasons behind those "ingredients", but they are also most likely designed to keep the site safe, to stop it from becoming a site that promotes crime or hate. Who are the ones who are in jeopardy if they let crime like copyright infringement or slander go by on their site? Who are the ones who have to take charge/responsibility if something breaks out on the site? The admins. They need to have the ability to avoid those situations. They have to draw a line, somewhere.

I do agree that "otherwise objectionable" is a bit vague, but it's not like a person can argue that they didn't sign up for this - because they did. (If you or anybody else wants to go the dA admins to clear that up, then go ahead, I'm not going to stop you.) If you agree to terms that allow a spineless art site to do spineless activity to your account on their site, then that's at least some of the fault lies with you. If you think that you should fight the spineless activity, then do so. But until that's fixed, there are two main choices that a person can do in the meantime: Follow the rules and accept the benefits of doing so, or leave the site completely and benefit elsewhere.

It's not as though taking down certain art pieces is equivalent to being banned or censored completely. At least a person can still complain and argue about it on the site itself. I'm not sure if there are no other sites where an artist can get exposure, but there are certainly a few options to consider (Patreon, Pixiv, Facebook, Youtube, to name a few off the top of the head), although they may not work the same as dA. Even if there were none, its possible that the person who's had their art declared inappropriate on this site could compromise. They could post some really fantastic, dA-accepted work on the site, gain exposure, and then encourage people to visit their more intriguing art, posted on another website. It may not be ideal, but it's workable.

I'm not saying that anyone who doesn't like what dA's doing should just leave. I'm saying that it is an option. If leaving is too inconvenient, then there are ways to cope with the issue. A user can complain as much as they want, but in the end part of the issue may be their fault.

Exactly. I haven't read the T&S agreement but I wouldn't be surprised if it said that DeviantArt is their server and thus they can delete whatever they want without having to explain it.
If you want to publish what DA considers to be porn (whether it is porn or not is now irrelevant), simply create your own website where you can have whatever you want.

they pick and choose. let some slide others not. terms and agreements should apply to every member; without bias or prejudice, right?

chu0403 In reply to E-9 [2015-01-15 15:13:40 +0000 UTC]

Of course people should do their jobs without prejudice, but in situations like these where you have to judge art on its level of appropriation and other things, then it does depend on bias and subjectivity. Besides, even if the admins or moderators aren't doing their job thoroughly, they are still justified in their actions when they do take down art that breaks the agreements.

E-9 In reply to chu0403 [2015-01-15 19:43:06 +0000 UTC]

Not exactly "justified" when said admins have examples of rules being broken in their favorites section for the entire community to see with no action taken whatsoever. But ok. I can sorta see why/how you came to that conclusion....

I've recently found your work, but have to admit that I love every piece. I love your style and that you're not pulling any punches. My old account here was besieged with crap because I wouldn't tone down my vehemence for religion. My friends who dealt in pictures always got slammed for "that's porn!!!" It was one day where I was drawing a nude woman sucking a dildo tip (an image mocking the over sexualized victoria's secret pink catalog with girls who looked as young as 15) that I thought to myself, "This won't fly on deviantart." At that point I just stopped posting. I don't want some website telling me what I can't write or draw.
Kudos to you!

If they follow the rules, the admins are beheaving just OK, but there are a large amount of real porn in dA  (made with photocameras), that is not prosecuted at all. And you see that one of that pic, doesn't have any nude at all.

So there are 3 things:

-Gunsmithcat post(ed) images that are provocative in some or other way.
-There are a bunch of individuals I don't know of what ideology but I would say that they are reactionary that can't stand the view of sex however they doesn't care about blood. They systematically report Gunsmithcat deviations. Also the deviations that are within the rules of dA.
-The hypocresy that rules in USA also is not helping, although there are admins that doesn't fall in that, there are others that yes, so I know at least one work that doesn't break any rule that was removed (like this →  gunsmithcat.deviantart.com/art… but instead of a shark, an alien of the movie)
-The rules of dA are a bit strange...

The resume is that the artwork of Gunsmithcat in some cases is bordeline but the real thing is that you see other treatment in all the site, but with his art is all application of the rules in strict manner.

However he is now known in all the world and he will set his own webpage, so dA is irrelevant for him now (I think).

Anything more, just see the description of this same deviation.

greetings

Um that's not trolling, that's reporting the right things. 12 year olds use this site, as long as you make your images unviewable to those under 18 and put a warning of mature content for those over 18 it should be fine, I'm looking through your gallery however and it seems you are not doing that, in other words you're the one in the wrong, please just make sure your artwork is labeled as mature content and these problems should stop, if they persist then DA is the problem. (Also likening them to Nazis for protecting underage viewers and those who feel uncomfortable with sexual references is more than ridiculous and very immature of you to liken a simple justified action to a horrific event of history).

sums up entirely a discussion i had a few weeks ago, concerning the degeneracy of the society and how in a side, there's an exaggeration of sexualizing litterally everything, and on the other hand. an absurd form of censorship on anything nude.

We live in a society where Kinsley's gender theory bullshit is forced into kid's brain in schools, in order to condition them into believing they chose themselves a gender or must find a more diverse sexual orientation. in the meantime, when an "art teacher" takes a class to visit a local fine arts museums, they are asking the staff to remove or cover explicit paintings that have been hanging here, because they are depicting nudity. This might be considered sexist, objectifying women, or even offending some people's religious views.

Everything depicting nudity must be considered porn, or anything in the spectrum of pornography. There's no borders, not between real thing and fiction. drawing furry porn is bestiality and shota is the equal as CP. that's the spirit that is being aimed to be forced in people's minds today. and how to define shit.

"If you draw naked males why don't you come out as a gay or bi? are you hypocrite? you're so narrow minded..."

However, as this socity is transforming in a copy of U.S.A., I wonder how much time left until we will be retards like that...

But of course I have to admit, the climate here can be rude some times. Especially the devotees of mentioned criticized media and the ones too ignorant to see the meaning behind the work can make life hard for an artist though freedom of speech.
