It really is. By today's standards, the graphics and animation is really bad but they were the very first to do it. The didn't have the technology we have today. The show is very unique in many ways. Even today, I know nothing that even looks a bit like it.
Trust me, it's worth looking up. I think the episodes are available on youtube. Just keep in mind that the first two seasons were aimed at a young public. The 3rd and 4th seasons are much more dark and mature.

This is just freakin' awesome! Β Β Your knowledge of the human anatomy is strong and strengthened by the effective use of the palette and proper amounts of lighting. Β In addition, the electric blue background matches the intensity of the expressions and action poses of both subjects. Well they have been talking about bringing Reboot back. Not sure how serious it is, but I'd be happy if it came back on the air. Thing is though, if they do bring it back, they should start it from scratch. Reason being Tony Jay is no longer with us, and I really don't want a scenario where someone imitates his voice. Like how Dan Castellaneta imitated Robin William's voice on Aladdin the series.Β

True. I feel like a rebooted version of reboot would be awesome. The animation wouldn't realy need to be improved that much. But if I were them I would start over useing all the stuff from the original while adding a tad bit newer updates to it. They need to keep it semi child like but make it as mature as the original was. The origional version was bold after season 3.Β

Yeah the tone really shifted after Enzo became Matrix. The animation really does need to be updated, and technology has advanced significantly since the show wrapped in 2001. So new is inevitable. Also Like I said in another comment, it would give someone else a chance to play Megabyte, without stepping on Tony Jay's original performance. Just like there are different voice actors for the Joker and Batman, aside from Mark Hamill, and Kevin Conroy.Β

What would be cool is if they start from whare the first version ended and start with mainframe being shut down and restarted years later and that when restarted they are all updated and maybe have different voices. That would be a good way to explain the different voices and upgrades. Another thing I would like to see though would be an update to the origional. Just to see how it would look.Β

I think it would be a putoff as well, but that's the thing. They need to have Megabyte as a character. I think the best thing to do, would be reintroduce everyone, and everything. Lets face it, the old series is done. if we treat this like a separate series, it will allow someone else to voice Megabyte.
