Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a drinker. So, when I made these, it was more off of what associations I make with the drink, and the ingredient list.

I first heard of the Mint Julep when I was reading The Great Gatsby, which takes place in the Roaring '20's. So, no matter what the drink is associated with now, I always see the Mint Julep as having an antiquated, elegant yet fun air to her. She's one of the wealthier members of Booze Town, and is known to attend parties among the higher-ups.

I tried to give her a delicate, minty-lace look.
