This is what a good day would look like to me. Bright and vivid, very cheerful! The flower seems to say all that in this photo, that's what I think. The flower's petals are opened up as if to greet the sunshine and welcome it saying "Hello"
I really like tulips they are my favorite flower, they're really pretty and very vivid in the sunshine. I just thought I'd share this with fellow art appreciators here on dA

I like the perspective from above and how you seem to emphasise the fact that the flower is open to the sun and all, especially from the vantage point you've given us.
The colours contrast well, although I do feel that the lighting makes everything appear a bit harsher. Perhaps you could darken it a bit and maybe increase the saturation as well if you can?
The framing isn't too bad, but I feel as if you could have centred the flower properly or placed the flower to the side of the frame and whatnot.
Other than that, it's not bad. I like the depth of field and how the flower stands out so much there, thus creating a big impact overall.
