Description
(okay so this entry might suck a bit, I'm not sure how to animate this well so it's just a sequence of images, and some of the ideas presented here might take a bit of time in reality, but gotta use what you can think of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also I might have misinterpreted the location of the flag now that I think of it)This is a entry where the team defends the flag.
The defenders have been armed with slingshots because they're easy to make.
For the base, the defenders set up a small fortress out of logs around the flag, with the way in being a small crevice near the front, set up so you'll literally have to struggle getting in, and teammates defending the base will notice the spy and attack them before they get any deeper. The base's top is lined with sharp scrap metal plates from the junk pile. Any ropes to climb on that get thrown over the walls will end up getting cut in half. The team had to chop down most of the trees to build the fort in this area though... a fix was attempted using trapping.
For traps, pitfall traps were hid around the base, and ramps made out of clay and dirt were placed around the pitfall traps. These ramps have the ramp side facing the base. Teammates can get above the ramps more easily to fire shots at enemy attackers, and enemy attackers can't easily get over the ramps; they'll have to go around or crawl over the ramps.
The front of the base facing the lake has a clay and dirt wedge and some floating shaved logs pointed away from the base. The wedge and these logs will split any boats that attempt to batter-ram the base from the front. The back of the base has pitfall traps too, but also lots of snare traps placed to trap enemy contestants.
For the flag, first Gas Pumpy located some hot glue gun sticks from the pile, then Gas Pumpy collected some clay from the shore, submerged the base of the flag in clay(with the hot glue gun sticks stuck near the base of the flag, in the clay) and then set up a campfire in the same spot of the flag. It's still gonna be in the same spot don't worry. Then, he placed the flag back into its spot, where the campfire heated up and cremated the clay around the base of the flag, making it harder to lift the flag up, and melted the gluesticks, gluing the flag and the clay base together. This means that enemy contestants might burn themselves trying to get the flag, and even if they get past that, they'd have to deal with the increased weight of the flag and the teammates trying to defend the flag.
Gas Pumpy also created some fake flags and hid them near the pitfall traps, just to trick enemy contestants if they stumble upon the fake flags.
