Description I hated today. Literally no sleep, I headed in very early to finish my work. I spent hours working on saws, sanders and the like with scrap pieces of wood to finish what I could, a sloppy attempt at a grade.

I didn't finish.

The teacher saw my effort to work at my own health and graded me on that, bless his heart.

I walked home full of sawdust (I washed it off my face before heading out), exhausted, and crashing on the bus. The second I made it here, I was out like a light, only forcing myself awake for a friend in far worse shape.

And yes, that's me.

I don't have a choice, and it's not really wood shop. The industrial shop is critical for industrial design students, as almost all of our work has to be hand-crafted. The place was packed today too, the smell of fiberglass resin and spray paint in the air and making me feel sick...

Most construction is done by computers nowadays...
You just program the code, and the PC works for you XDDD

Well we do have some tech like that, like a 3D printer and a CNC machine. But the hands-on stuff is still a core element, and very much valuable in our field of work.
