though i admit the ordinary-looking bird design doesn't suit Lugia, i don't deny that this is well drawn

I've been going through your whole gallery and it's been a rather enjoyable viewing. I really like your realistic renditions of pokemon. So I realize this is an old picture, but I just wanted to say that it'd be neat to do lugia more aquatic based, like almost plesiosaurus. I really like your avian version regardless, and if you were to do an aquatic version I bet it'd be really sweet as well. Great work!!

Wow, you really made it a bird! I like the translation of apparent beaklessness into a short beak coloured like the rest of the body (even though it has teeth). I can't see a long tail on a bird, but it still works. Lugia is a pokemon of legends, so it would be sorta surreal and alien looking.
