In the darkest depth of time.
When all there was is despair.
Despair for the people you care about and of course what coming next.
Never knew why there was so much darkness or the fact that there seem to be little to no hope.
But it like this day in and day out.
So you wish that tomorrow will not be full of violent and pain.
But instead tomorrow can be a brighter future.
But as tomorrow came, it was the same old thing.
Seem like it never get better.

What can you do it wartime.
I wish this would end.
I do not want to kill and I do not want to fight.
Why oh why must this be so.
Not long ago I say my best friend being killing by bandits.
It not fair.
Why does everything must be terrible.
No good food.
Hardly anything to drink and yet I am supposed to have hope.
Good luck with that.
Well whatever world.
...Not going to do me in.... Not today and not tomorrow.

It seem like it would be forever for peace to return.
Every day some building is getting blown up and being destroyed.
But for some reason that boy never lost hope.
He kept going along with life.
And eventually was able to get a companion.
Which made eating a lot harder because the companion is a dog.
But somehow they manage.
While him and his dog keep drifting from city to city.
Even though there wasn't much hope for those two.
While walking they have seen maybe dead body and many town torn up.
But they knew in there heart that the world would be normal again.

You know Max, no matter what the world will be all right again one day.
Ruff ruff!
Yeah I know what you mean.
It may not seem like it any place to live in and that is right.
But I just have a feeling something good going to happen.
I just can feel it.
I don't know why, but I just do.

Few years past and war soon was beginning to past.
But so many people have died and that boy is still with his dog.
He may have lost his best friend but not his new best friend Max.
Oddly enough they never gave up hope when it seem they should have.
Grass was starting to grow, but it would take way too long to repair everything.
Because of the fact there were just too much debris around them.
But they have hope that one day it will be new and better than before.
Hopefully for them what cause the mess in the first place wasn't going to happen.
Although they still don't have a concrete place to live.
But they did not care at all about that.
They were fine roaming the lands.
Hunting for any food they can get.
But they were happy.
Even when most people around them have died.
I think what they name this sense of feeling the last strand of hope.
Although I never was able to find out what happen next with those two.
If I were to guess then it probably living rest of their happy.
Or at least they can find more people to be happy with.
