-About Alabama-

Alabama seems like an intimidating person, with his towering height, his muscular body structure, his torn up jeans, and a dead animal hat on his head, accompanied by a stern look and a mysterious character, but once someone gets to know him, he's just a big ol' sweetheart.

Alabama has a few strengths; Alabama is a calm, laid-back person, and he is understanding towards everyone. Whenever someone needs help, he's there to help them with whatever they need help with. He's also great at fixing things and he loves fixing things for people, which is why he's in his shed most of the time. He's protective of the ones he cares about, especially Colorado. Alabama is actually not rude at all; in fact, he is actually a really friendly and caring person. He is also usually the "peacemaker" in fights. He is also leader-like and strong. Alabama puts the belief of "all Deep Southern states and people are stupid" to rest, as he is a very intelligent individual. In fact, he has an interest in spaceships (some see him as a "rocket scientist"), and a little bit of aircraft (the rocket that made it possible for humans to land on the moon, Saturn V rocket, was designed in Huntsville, Alabama; also, the Tuskegee Airmen were trained in Alabama). He also knows how to insult people without directly insulting them, which comes in handy for him.

Along with his strengths, Alabama also has some weaknesses. He tends to be overly protective of the ones he's closest to at times, such as Colorado. He gets hung up on the past and tends to overthink the past, and he doesn't think he would ever have a chance at love (mostly because of what has happened to him). No one really seems to have a crush on him, either; they all see him as just a friend.

Alabama was the 22nd state to join the Union. About forty two years later, he seceded from the Union to join the Confederacy during the Civil War. He played a crucial role during the Civil War, especially with Montgomery being the Confederacy's capital. He was made the head of the Confederacy. Alabama was determined to win the war (as were the other states in the Confederacy), but he hadn't fought in a war before the Civil War. Unfortunately for him, some of the states in the Union had experience that he did not: The American Revolution. Because of this, Alabama had to surrender, especially after he had his side sliced by a Union soldier's sword. This formed a scar on his side, which he despises to this day. His scar not only represents his loss in the Civil War and how he "failed", but it also represents that he fought for things that he no longer believes in, and simply thinks it wasn't worth fighting with his friends over. Unfortunately, Alabama gets flashbacks very often from his past, especially from the Civil War. There were events beyond just fighting in the war that are burned into his memory for the rest of his life.

Alabama is an extreme football fan. He also likes NASCAR, and (he doesn't tell anyone else this) sometimes him and Indiana watch NASCAR races together (but that's about it). He is also really good at barbecuing, and a lot of states say that he is the best at barbecuing. Alabama doesn't really like to boast or brag, so he simply thanks them for the compliments. He also loves the stereotypical "Alabama food", such as Moonpies. Alabama also likes to rock out to "Sweet Home Alabama", but he doesn't really like dancing or singing in front of other people much. However, if someone is quiet enough to creep up on him while that song is playing while he's alone, they might catch him dancing and singing along to the song. Also, if he has the opportunity, he will eavesdrop or even get in on a good gossip session, and he loves it (even though he won't believe/say anything that's not true). Also, he doesn't tell anyone, but he likes big butts (and he can not lie, you other brothers can't deny, when a girl walks in with a ity bity waist and a round thing in your face you get sprung (I'm sorry XD)). He tries to keep that as secret as possible. He doesn't really care for it when someone throws a few hillbilly or redneck jokes at him, but he has learned to ignore it.

Also, Louisiana stole Mardi Gras from Alabama.
