Description

So, yeah. Despite everything, there *are* a few things that I like about new DA, most notable of which is the space for a cover image at the top of my personal gallery page; so since we got switched over, I've been working on a suitable picture for that. If this turned out a bit over-crowded. in the end... well, it still works!

I sort of thought: what would accurately represent all of the original (or semi-original) works that I post on DA? There wasn't any one thing; so instead, I settled on my cheetah mascot dreaming up my imaginary worlds and stories, and dividing the rest of the page between them. On that thought, then, we have four sections here:

1. Lauren and her story. As my main pet project, naturally, it gets much of the focus; though rather than crowd in too much, I decided to focus just a few of the key cast. The background, as a point of interest, is of note as the first piece of concept art based on the story's setting: the Academy in the 'fantasy realm' beneath the world's surface. While I've pictured it in my head before now, this was the first time I'd actually drawn it; naturally, it's subject to change by the time I get to showing it in-story, but this is the first swing at it, at least! ^^

2. Disney Next-Gen World, for whatever that's worth. I don't really... do anything in that AU / fandom / whatever any more; but it's also the personal work that my gallery has contained most of for many years, and still deserves its place here. I'm wondering if, at some point, I might not separate it from its canon roots and spin it off as its own thing, since I've put so much work into the characters over they years; but that's low priority yet. Characters featured here are, naturally, the three who kinda slid their way into the main roles (left to right: Sophie, Misten and Jinx), and Tally, as the oldest such character of my own design who's still in use.

3. Miscellaneous others. Elise and Joleen , stars of a Studio Ghibli-inspired story that I'm improvising, on and off. The new girl I recently adopted but haven't settled on a place for yet. And Swati and her posse (and yes, that is Pinky Chunky peeking through the gap back there!). None of them had enough to them to warrant a full section of their own, so I grouped them all together. Which, come to think of it, might just be a combination worth giving some thought to...

4. Amber, Landon, and their group : the mains of another story project I have at the back of my mind, for after Lauren's is done. The two main friends, of course, take the spotlight... while everyone else crowds in behind because 'there's only six characters, I can fit them all in without it looking too crowded!' I leave it to your judgement whether or not I succeeded on that particular count xD

I dunno, I... I thought it worked out quite well. At any rate, it shows a few of my most main characters and ideas for stories, so I thought it was nicely representative of my gallery as a whole ^^

All characters are mine; any similarity to other people, real or fictional, is completely unintentional and coincidental. Several of them were first designed by other people, but have since been bought by me and are now mine.
