That's debatable... If you like the first but just wanted more to do, then i recommend DBX2. It's like a big expansion.

from experience ( and i have now play'd it with almost every race to the finish ) the base game is mostly the same . everything else well that's a other story the main stage were you can walk/hover/fly is alot bigger and no longer have to go trough gates all the time just to get some gear . there is still a little gate traveling but i'm gonna leave it at that or else i would be spoiling stuff . you can tutor from mentors a.k.a good guys and bad guys from the show to learn their moves so that you can use them in battle . the main story doesn't have the increase in difficulty the first one has it's more on a level line upwards, difficult battle's still occur but you just have to adapt or level they are all doable . the attacks also have been improved for the majin as example are better able to do hand to hand combat unlike the first game . that's all i can get from the top of my mind but still Xenoverse 2 is a improvement from the first one while still keeping it familiar . as Rakku said It's like a big expansion .
