Description Woah a post out of nowhere!
This is really a random (hurrhurr random like my user ) way to say, "hey I have an idea! I need some feedback!" But this is what I’m doing, so please please give me feedback if you want to see something like this! (Or if you don’t that’s fine giving me some feedback for too lol)

My idea is just to take some old Warriors OCs (and I mean like a decade old OCs) and put them in an original comic (it will have a story promise it won’t just be a Sunday comic deal) to practice my writing, art, and overall ability to start a project and persevere to see it through to the end.

Those of you who remember my previous comic Haunted and how that ended up are probably rolling their eyes right now and saying, "yeah right-" and I completely understand that sentiment, which is the reason I’m presenting this first. The problem with Haunted was how underprepared I was in taking on the task. I would lose steam so fast because the process of making the comic felt like a chore. I stopped writing ahead of time before Chapter 1 even started, causing me to improv and that didn’t help at all. Not only that but I felt I was lacking in the skill to draw the scenes in a unique way and have it make sense. I felt like I was lacking the ability in general in all honesty. I’m in no means better with backgrounds, but I feel my character design and consistency has improved at least a bit. It was a hassle and in the end I gave up because of it, but I can use the mistakes I made as a, "What not to do while making a comic" guide.

With this comic however, I want to make drawing this comic fun for me and unique to other comics, so I wanted to go for this sketchbook/field journal style, like someone is drawing the scenes as they see them in the wild. The rough, sketchy, almost unfinished or unrefined, quick loose and messy sketchbook style is something I admire in art, I find it so satisfying to see every pencil and eraser mark, with a bit of watercolor/inkwash or colored pencil mixed in. And I just like the appeal of a sepia tone field journals like Ellie’s Adventure Book in UP, so I wanted that feel as well. That’s not to say there won’t be color, I think it would be cool to have a colored panel at the end of every chapter, but not in the look a digitally refined artwork, I feel like that would just clash. Instead it would still have the traditional feel, with watercolors and colored pencil. It would almost be like a reverse of the end cards you see in anime like Pokémon, JoJo and Yugioh (yes I really went weeb on you there).

(Sorry if you read the ranty wall of text above me, I didn’t mean for this to be and essay.)

ANYWAY,
If this is really something you want, I will try my best to make it. So please please PLEASE, comment, like, share so I can see if there’s genuine interest, it would mean a lot to me. The comic won’t be long (as far as I can guess-) but hopefully I can see it through to the end if I actually do this. The biggest obstacle for me will be starting it and keeping it going, but if you guys like the idea, I can start writing and drawing ahead of time, and when I feel like I’m ready, I’ll announce a schedule for posting and a "release date" for the first comic. Hopefully it will be after my college semester so I can work on it more easily, and get far ahead of the schedule so when school starts up again, I can work on it on my off time and still have comics to post.

Thanks for reading this very hopeful post about something that may not even exist ever, and have a good day/night!
