When I saw how the focus and coloring on this came out, I thought I was going to die. I love photographing turkey toms, because they're such a given; you might as well take a picture of a flower or a butterfly.
I'm not quite sure of this particular turkey's rescue stories. The fact that he has a beak and toes makes me think he didn't come from a factory farm. However, he *might* be from this case were some dolt was trying to sell live turkeys on E-Bay. Seriously people, its bad enough that we auction animals in general; could we at least not auction them on some "used crap" webpage to people who probably know nothing about husbandry and intend on having live birds shipped like packages to their homes?
