Description
The ducks were just plain showing off today. Between the gorgeous sunlight, and comparatively dull winter settings, the drakes especially were standing out beautifully on the water. Since I'm cheesy and love to see "couples" of animals, I opted to photograph this young pair. I'm always amazed how ducks manage to stay warm despite those icy cold waters, without any fur or feathers on their little orange feet...
