Perhaps it is insulting to put this in "art photography," given how nice some of the shots on this page here are. It is, after all, basically just a cute snapshot of my rabbit Darwin. However, two things made me want to put it up. One, you can actually see the brown in his eye marking, unlike any other picture I've taken of him. Two, I like the way the sun light looks on his whiskers. And, ok, maybe part of the reason I'm putting up a not particularly fantastic shot is that it was darned hard to get a picture of him! You see, I bottle raised Darwin since he was literally only one day old, and he now thinks I'm his mom, littermate, and girlfriend all wrapped in to one; getting him to stop chasing, snuggling, and humping me long enough to get a picture is an accomplishment in and of itself.
