Ah, so here's that fall photography I promised. This shot was taken in October at a pond in the Taconic Outdoor Center. The foliage was absolutely peak at the time, and I went nuts trying to catch the reflection of the leaves on the pond (my camera isn't always fond of focusing for distance shots; it is more of a close-up camera). The time of day was interesting, because although the sky was bright (white, even), there was quite a lot of shadow. Everything out on the water - such as this fallen tree - looked black.
