Shot taken at the buddhist monastary. It was a very gray day out, right before a horrendous torrential downpour. However, enough sun was peeking through the clouds to illuminate the brilliant red leaves of a Japanese Maple. The colors here are 100% unmanipulated but for "auto levels." Please note that though the photo quality is gritty, there was no real attempt made to focus, as I wanted the contrast between the bright leaves and dull sky to be the focus.
