Something about this picture manages to be beautiful and horrific at the same time. I think the color, focus, and bright lighting set the mood for something cheerful; new spring leaves, soft white fur, a beautiful blue sky in the background. But then, when you see that shunk of still-bloody skin attached to the fur, the scene becomes far more sinister.Related content

I *really* like this one! I can't think of how many times I've seen something like this in an otherwise cheery scene. Just last week, found a fluff of squirrel fur attached to a skin blob right behind my mom's work. I went to pick up the pretty little fluff of fur, but found the surprise on the end, heh.
