Description Adelei was sent to me by his former owner. She was moving to New Zealand and was concerned that no one would be able to accomdate his special needs. He has spinal and pectoral fin deformities that prevent him from swimming properly, and probably some problems with his swim bladder as well. Because of this, he needs to be kept in a tank that is extremely shallow and wide, and needs careful feeding. But his disabilities do not keep him down! Here he is resting in a plant around "betta bed-time."

Awwh! what a cute face! I'm a sucker for an animal in need too. I breed bettas & I've got a whole row of deformed & borken fooshies, I couldn't bare to part with them, all get extra TLC and a female to gawk at in the opposite row
