I would just like to proudly say that there was NO zoom lens, NO cropping, and NO enlargement of this photo. I literally got within eight inches of a wild turtle for this shot. I had to move extremely slowly over the course of about 20min to convince the turtle not to swim away. I got about 10 shots, all of which were pretty nice, but this was the best. Then the turtle finally spooked and swam off.Nice, eh?
