I realize the focus is imperfect, but for some reason I love this photo. The tree (yes, there are three) hens all crowded under and around the rooster, with him towering above them, is just so beautiful. These girls came from factory farms where they didn't know sunlight or grass, let alone the protection of a rooster. Seeing them behaving as chickens ought to is really heart warming.
