Another shot from the New York Botanical Gardens. I was origionally going to photograph those soft, beautiful, flower-like floating plants you see below, but when I looked inbetween the roots, I saw this neat little patch of moss with tiny sprouts sticking up out of it and knew it was a good opprotunity for a photograph. I like the fact that there is new life springing from the foundation - the roots - of an older, more mature plants. And using those soft floating plants as a background gives the whole scene a very gentle look, in my humble opinion.
