Something rather quick. The eyes were the most work, but I like how they turned out. And yeah, I still can't decide on a shading-style and I tried something new, again.Inspired by all the lovely and wonderful art that this debate over our lovely Derpy has produced, like:

It affects worldwide I know, but there are existing countries already got locked by its policies. If the bills passed, I can imagine it'll become a World Cyber War, it's not like all of us will be hackers, but rebels with guns. Remember those websites being taken down by Anonymous, they're back online and the Nazi treated this as a stunt to scare them.

Apparently there was this huge fight in the fandom, because some people thought Derpy was being offensive, so WeLoveFine altered every Derpy T-Shirt to not say her name and iTunes pulled The Last Roundup from it's store.
Turned out everything was, as far as I know, just a big hoax from a couple of trolls who scared the whole fandom. But don't quote me on that. That's just what I heard.

There's a big controversy that started after she appeared in an episode where she talked for the first time.

I think it was just blown out proportion, again. I see it hub site, Hasbro, and on demand from my cable. I thought it was just accident. There not much for them to be controversial about. We only saw a little fraction of the character. All we know is she is accidental prone.

I agree. People over reacted and just randomly started pointing fingers after the episode disappeared from iTunes and that shirt website started changing her name.
I don't trust iTunes since there were 2 episodes labeled as episode 11 and episode 13 was labeled as episode 12.

I'd love to see a comic where Derpy tells the bronies that it doesn't matter if she gets her name changed. Zoom out to show Gold, Brendan, Lucas, and Hilbert (all from the Pokemon games), changing their names to Ash Ketchum.

the problem is we bronies gave her that name, so changing her name is like changing a very personal and important part of the fandom and ourselves.

I sure hope things work out soon. With that said, though, the fans have done so much with Derpy in her creation, we practically own her. Knowing that makes me feel good.
