Description Just a little tribute to a place I've come to love. Its my new home, a place where I can detach myself from the mindnumbing reality..

This was executed very well technically and it really is quite lovely, but I think there is too much going on. In terms of feeling, I have mixed emotions because everything is representing something different too me. I love each idea individually: the tree, the flowers, and the birds, but this really seems like three images stuck together. I think each one is powerful enough to hold up by itself. Mainly the figure bothers me the most. He just isnt in the right pose, especially given the amount of slack on the strings. Take out him and the birds and use the idea in another way, and I think I'd be in love with it. I really only mention all of this because your other work isn't as busy.

thanks! I appreciate such detailed comments. I just let everything go when I made this one, but I definitely see your points. I kind of like the mess myself though. A chaotic and unrealistic daydream. I've made a few corrections since I uploaded this one. I moved the flock of birds down abit, lightened the sky behind them, fixed the clouds coming up from behind the sanddunes, and made a more realistic motionblurr on the man and birds. Not that it makes it any less busy, only more compositionally settled..

Thanks again for taking the time to comment!

This is so beautiful. The birds on the strings remind me of a painting I saw by boyinmidair a while back, makes me want to fly.

well mang, your manipulation-skill is insanely good, and the imagination youยดve captured this scenery with is underlining a style which nearly can be expressed as "surreal"...

me likes alot!

Hey Grant. Can't tell you how proud it makes to have you wanting to buy a print of mine. Thanks buddy. If/when I buy a print-account, I'll put this up as a very cheap print for you. Can't make it very large though, considering the original file is 2000x2000 px.

You have no idea what I went through to finally get a look at this. Thumbnails haven't been working for it in the last two days, so I spent what would surely add up to an hour or so trying to click in the space where the frame of the thumb appears for a fraction for a second. In the process I clicked on all sorts of things, including reporting this as a violation.

But now I'm here. . Knew it it would be worth it. All I can say is: Nils Holgerson.

you reported this as a violation?
Well, I'm happy you liked what you saw once you finally made it here The preview image is still not working, now 4 days after submission
Hehe, I can see what you mean with Nils Holgerson (fantastic journey..)

Thanks for your comment sweetheart.
