DRAKE: “This is the shuttlecraft Armstrong to the U.S.S. Constitution, requesting clearance for landing.”
M-6: “Constitution to Armstrong. You are cleared for landing. Captain, I would remind you that we are due to rendezvous with the U.S.S. Reliant in 7 minutes and 12 seconds.”
DRAKE: “I remember, M-6. We’ll be aboard shortly.”
LT. ZACHARIAS (Science Officer): “If you don’t mind my asking, sir, why are we meeting with the Reliant?”
DRAKE: “Reliant will be working closely with the Constitution for the next several months. Her captain, Dexter J. Franco is not only a great starship captain, he’s also one of Starfleet’s finest engineering minds. He’ll be assisting us in our temporal transporter experiments. There’s no one better.”
