Um a few people i know use the nikons and well they are alot better depending on the different areas you use them in.

I dont know much about them-but they have lower noise-so the images are usually better.

But dont take my word for it cause im still a beginner...

But through the grape vine ive heard they are better than the canons (depending on which model you are going to get of course too)
and that you arent limited with the lenses-there are more lenses to choose from in the nikon range and you dont have to always get the nikkor brand either=which makes it less expensive.
