Using a variety of clay bodies that melt and move beyond my control in the kiln, I create objects that peak curiosity through juxtaposing the roles of familiar and foreign in a tantalizing composition. The evidence of creation is absent. Curiosity turns into mystery as the work is analyzed. The art specimen appears to be from a scale of time humans cannot fathom.
